Now almost 60% of students are skipping class. Why these kind phenomena happened? Is it because of they have being influence by their friends, parent, teacher or even the student its self? Phenomenon of absenteeism among students in the class is not a new phenomenon for the community. This issue occurs because the attitudes of students who do not care about their studies. They are willing to skip from classes in order things that are not beneficial. Sometimes the student skipping class just to avoid teacher they don’t like. The question now is why do students skip to class?
Parent? Sometimes parent makes the children skipping class with or without they realize it. Some of parents give too much money to their children. They only use for lunch time. So, what should they do with the money? They must seek for a time that nobody especially their parents would notice. The perfect time is during class time, their parent thinks that their children are at school, studying. So does the teacher, they would think that their student that absent is sick, have family problem and so on.
Some of the student is very weak in study, for example math. So there didn’t like to go to class because they thought that they will never be good at math. They also would skip class because they didn’t finish their homework/assignment. The students are afraid that their teacher would scold them because didn’t finish their homework.
